Plenty of seating upstairs, and outside (when the weather's good). Very homely feel. Comfortable leather sofas, rocking chairs, local art and some board games. Very friendly staff. Gets busy at lunchtimes, but generally quiet upstairs where all the regulars sit. A lot of web designers and developers seem to hang out here.
I'm sitting in Café Delice, right at the top of Brighton's trendy North Laine. Staff are speaking French with one another, the Amélie soundtrack is playing - I rub my eyes to be sure I'm not in Paris! Wifi is quick and staff are helpful. They pointed out power outlets for me - clearly used to hosting mobile workers.
